Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): How to Register Free Before You Fly
Complete the official Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before landing. Learn when to register, what you need, and how to avoid fake paid TDAC websites.
What is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is the official online pre-arrival registration for most foreign visitors entering Thailand. It replaces the old paper arrival card and helps immigration process you faster on landing.
Registration is free on the Immigration Bureau website only.
Official website (use this only)
Register here:
https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
Beware of fake TDAC websites
Scam sites copy the look of the official form and charge a “service fee.” Thai authorities have warned that TDAC itself has no fee.
Red flags:
- URLs that are not
tdac.immigration.go.th - Requests to pay by crypto, gift card, or personal transfer
- Urgency messages (“pay now or your flight is blocked”)
Bookmark the official link before you travel. If someone at the airport offers to “process TDAC for cash,” decline and use the free official site or airline/airport Wi‑Fi.
When should you submit TDAC?
Complete TDAC in the three days before your arrival in Thailand (not months ahead). Have your passport, flight details, and accommodation address ready.
What you’ll typically need
- Passport details
- Arrival flight / transport information
- Address of your first stay in Thailand (hotel or host)
- Contact details
Exact fields can change — always follow the official form.
After you submit
Keep a screenshot or confirmation on your phone. Immigration officers may ask to see it. Pair TDAC with a clear plan for airport pickup so your first hour in Thailand is smooth.
